Important notes
The inclusion carousel is designed for installation on public playgrounds. The carousel is inclusion
equipment. It is designed for users with and without wheelchairs together.
Start the ride
The carousel is standing still. The safety bows can be opened and the users can access the carousel.
After the bows have been closed the carousel can turn.
Stop the ride
After carousel has stopped, the bows can be opened and the users may leave the carousel.
The brakes
The brakes have to be adjusted properly on installation. The brakes are working like a drum brake former
used in cars.The safety bows should only be opened when carousel is not turning. With open safety
bows the carousel is fixed and may not turn. This will ensure that the wheelchair driver and all other
users may enter or leave the carousel safely.
The brake is an additional safety mechanism that ensures in case of faulty operation like opening the
safety bows during operation the carousel will stop immediately.
