Usage notes and tips for window
groove cutter
Reduce the insertion depth using the adjustable
stop if it is clear that full insertion must not take
place.
Only operate using moderate pressure when
during insertion just like when moving the device.
Overloading causes damage to the device and
the blade.
In the case of hard materials or if the material to
be processed is not known, start with light pres-
sure, then adapt this to the situation at hand.
The operating direction must correspond to the
direction of rotation.
Pay attention to ensuring a conformal 90° inser-
tion position of the device to the material, thereby
avoiding possible tilting.
If the suction effect decreases, the device must be
cleaned.
Clean the device after every use by removing the
lower blade cover.
The suction opening as well as the drive shaft must
not be clogged or stuck together by wall-paper
residue, silicone residue, loose plaster parts and
stone parts.
Ensure that the LED display is in your range of
vision. It is used as an indicator during use. It
promptly warns the user against overloading the
device due to excessive contact pressure.
As soon as the LED starts blinking, the
device runs at its maximum load.
The pressure should then be decreased. If
this is ignored, the device shuts down after
approx. two to thee seconds.
Immediately after reducing the contact
pressure, the device starts up again auto-
matically.
If the device blocks up during use, the LED
illuminates continuously.
In the event of extreme continuous use or
continuously strong overload, in the event of
an impending interwinding short circuit, the
device automatically switches into a cooling
mode. Here, the motor runs at a low speed.
To end the cooling mode, switch the device
off the device after approximately two to
three minutes and switch it on again. If the
device continues to run in cooling mode
afterwards, this process must be repeated.

Noise/Vibration Information

WARNING!
The noise level may exceed 80 dB (A)
during work.
Risk of severe injuries and acoustic
Â
trauma.
Wear hearing protection.
¾
Measured values determined according to
EN 60 745.
Typical measured noise levels (A):
— Sound pressure level 101.2 dB(A);
— Sound power level 112.2 dB(A).
— Measurement uncertainty K=1.5 dB(A).
Wear hearing protection!
Vibration total values (vector sum in three directions)
measured in accordance with EN 60 745.
— Housing = 2.87 m/s
2
— Uncertainty K=1.5 m/s
— Handle = 3m/s
2
— Uncertainty K=1.5 m/s
The vibration emission level given in this information
sheet has been measured in accordance with a stan-
dardised test given in EN 60745 and may be used
to compare one tool with another. It may be used for
a preliminary assessment of the vibrational impact.
