1.- Put the sharpener on a hard stable surface. Make sure you're comfortable while sharpening
to avoid unnecessary risks.
2.- Plug the cord in an outlet and push the ON/OFF switch (5). The grinding wheels will start
spinning.
3.- Sharpens knives, scissors and screwdrivers, as shown below.
ATTENTION:
Do not run the unit for more than three minutes without stopping.
Let it rest for 20 minutes and make sure it has cooled down before starting it up again.
Do not leave the unit running unsupervised. If the motor gets excessively hot it can reduce
its life or cause irreparable damage.
Sharpening Knives
a) Use the coarse sharpening grooves (1) for sharpening very dull knives. To sharpen
gently slide and push down the knife from the handle to the tip using the right and
left groove to sharpen both sides of the knife. Repeat that process about
3 to 4 times for each face of the knife (PHOTO 1-2).
b) Use the fine sharpening grooves (2) for sharpening knives that are not too dull or
as a second step for very dull knives. To sharpen gently slide and push down the
knife from the handle to the tip using the right and left groove to sharpen both
sides of the knife. Repeat that process about 3 to 4 times for each face of the knife
(PHOTO 3-4).
