Intended use

This appliance is designed to heat
domestic quantities of water. The
appliance is not suitable for warm-
ing milk.
The kettle may only be operated
with its base. Other bases must
not be used. The base must not
be used with another appliance.
The appliance is designed for use
in private households at room
temperature and is not designed
for commercial use or shared use
(e.g.: use by several parties in a
block of flats).
The appliance is not suitable for
use outdoors or on non-stationary
sites (e.g. ships).
The appliance must not be put in-
side a cupboard when in use.
Persons who are unable to op-
erate the appliance safely due to
their physical, sensory or mental
abilities or lack of knowledge must
be supervised during use.
No technical changes may be
made to the appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, its service agent or a
qualified expert in order to avoid
a hazard.
Use the appliance exclusively as
described in this user manual. Any
other use is deemed improper and
may result in damage to property
or even personal injury.
The manufacturer accepts no li-
ability for damage caused by im-
proper use.
