WARNING: This equipment should be installed by a competent person. The CO
sensor is powered by batteries and requires no additional wiring. It can be
installed on the wall with the provided mounting hardware or on the countertop
with the included bracket.
1. After determining the mounting location, make sure that there are no electric wires or pipes
in the area adjacent to the mounting surface.
2. Mark the locations of the two mounting holes.
3. Drill holes in the marked places.
4. Screw the screws into the drilled holes and leave them at 4mm.
5. Insert 2 pcs of batteries (LR03 AAA 1.5 V) into the battery compartment on the back of the
detector, and the device will turn on automatically after about 120 seconds.
NOTE: The installation of the appliance should not be a substitute for proper installation, use
and maintenance of fuel burning appliances, including adequate ventilation and exhaust
systems.
Installing / Replacing the battery
This device is powered by 2 LR6 AAA 1.5V batteries. To install / replace the batteries, open the
battery compartment on the back of the detector and install the batteries. PAY ATTENTION TO
THE POLARITY CONNECTION AND CLOSE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT.
After installing the batteries, the product's green (Power), yellow (Fault), and red (Alarm) LEDs
will light up in sequence, followed by a preheat countdown of 120 seconds.
Standby mode
When carbon monoxide is not detected, the green (Power) LED blinks once approximately every
59 seconds.
Testing
To test the device, press the TEST button to enter the test mode. During this time, the green
(Power) and yellow (Fault) LEDs will be on, the red (Alarm) LED will flash and the device will
simulate an alarm.
