Operating Temperature: Do not use this
product outside its operating temperature,
which is between -20°C (-4 °F) and 50°C
(122 °F).
Climbing spurs on the ground: To avoid
accidents and excessive wear of the climbing
spurs, do not walk on the ground with them.
This will unnecessarily wear out the gaff and
stirrup of the climbing spurs.
Changes: Climbing spurs should not be used
if they have been altered in any way.

Weight limit with equipment: with USA short
gaff/Heidelberg: 150 kg (330 lb), with USA

Height adjustability: 34.3 cm (13.5 in) to 47.8
cm (18.8 in) in steps of 0.6 cm (0.24 in).
Adjustment of upper straps: 31 cm (12.2 in)
to 50 cm (19.7 in).

2) First use and adjustment of climbing
spurs

2.1) Height adjustment

Check the height adjustment of the climbing
spurs with the following test: With your work
clothes on, place your leg and foot in the
stirrup and fasten the upper strap first, then
the lower strap. Bend the knee at a 90-
degree angle. The cuff should be as high as
possible on the inside of the calf and shin
without hindering the bending of the leg.
If the height adjustment of the cuff does not
fit, the height can be adjusted: Loosen the
pad from the cuff. Loosen the two screws
with a suitable wrench. Place the foot in the
stirrup and fasten the lower strap around the
foot. Slide the cuff up or down along the shaft
until the upper edge of the cuff is about 4 cm
below the knee. Mark the adjusted height.
Hold the cuff firmly and attach the screws.
Check the adjustment with the pad in place
