contaminated by fuel, oil, greases or
other combustible or flammable
substances while working, it is
essential to change the HS leg
protector before doing any further
work. Risk of fire!
– Accessories such as straps or other
equipment must only be used in
such a way that the HS leg protector
is not pinched, since otherwise the
protective function of the HS leg
protector is reduced.
– The HS leg protector must be slid
into the trousers as described, since
otherwise the protective function of
the HS leg protector may be
negatively impacted.
– The HS leg protector must be only
be cleaned and cared for described,
since otherwise the protective

– Never make any modifications to

3 Preparation and use
3.1 Cut-resistant area

4 Maintenance and cleaning
4.1 Servicing
– Only the MultiProtect HS trousers
may be repaired.
– Do not sew through the protector.
– If altering or repairing
MultiProtect HS trousers, ensure
that the protector pocket is not sewn
up or altered.
– Check the HS leg protector regularly
for damage or dirt.
In professional use, the maximum
period of usage is considered to be
max. 5 years. The HS leg protector
must be replaced when the Velcro®
fastening wears out.
The period of usage depends mainly
on the specific application, stress and
wear in each case, and other factors
(e.g. regular care, repairs, proper
storage.
4.2 Cleaning
– The HS leg protector can be washed
in the MultiProtect HS trousers or
separately.
– The Velcro® fastening cover of the
HS leg protector must be always
folded down again before washing.
– Care for the HS leg protector
according to the pictograms on the
protective product or in the
MultiProtect HS trousers.
– Standard commercial color- or
gentle washing detergents are
recommended for washing.
