The user may carry out the following operations:
1. Fitting and removing bowl and tools (Fig. 1)
Proceed as follows, in sequence, to fit the bowl and
tools:
1 – Move the side lock/release lever to the "RELEASE"
position to raise the head of the appliance.
2 – With the head of the appliance raised and interlocked
mechanically by the special lever, fit the bowl in the seat
and turn it in a clockwise direction until it is locked. The
bowl must be perfectly secured and stable if it is correctly
locked.
3 – Take the desired work tool, depending on the type of
use (see Tab. 2 – Para. 10) and attach it to the shaft of the
planetary mixer, applying a slight pressure so that the tool
shaft reaches the bottom of the fixing seat. Turn the tool
in a clockwise direction until it locks in its seat and check
that it has been correctly secured.
4 – Move the side lock/release lever for the head (see Fig.
1) to the "RELEASE" position and lower the head until it
has reached the end of its stroke, then release the lock le-
vel so that it automatically returns to the "LOCK" position.
5 – Start the appliance as described in the Section "Swit-
ching ON/OFF".
Proceed as follows, in sequence, to remove the bowl
and tools:
1 - Ensure that the appliance is switched OFF by pressing
the red "STOP" button and disconnecting the electricity
supply plug.
2 - Move the side lock/release lever for the head (see
Fig. 1) to the "RELEASE" position and raise the head to
the end of its stroke, then release the lock level so that it
automatically returns to the mechanical safety interlock
"LOCK" position.
3 – Gently press the tool upwards and turn it in an antic-
lockwise direction to release it, then pull it off the planeta-
ry mixer shaft and remove it.
4 – Remove the bowl by rotating it in an anti-clockwise
direction and lifting it from its seat.
2. Switching ON/OFF (see Fig. 3)
Insert the plug in the individually interlocked protected
electric socket. Turn the knob to select "MIN" speed and
press the green "START" button: the appliance will start
to move the tool. Then select the desired speed accor-
ding to the type of tool fitted, the product and the process
to be carried out, referring to Tab. 2.
Press the red "STOP" button and disconnect the plug
from the electric socket to stop the appliance. Wait at
least 10 seconds after disconnecting the plug before con-
necting the appliance to the power supply line again.

The sequence of actions to be performed for working with
the appliance is as follows (see subsection "Fitting and
removing bowl and tools"):
1 – Raise the head of the appliance;
2 – Insert the bowl;
3 – Pour the ingredients inside the bowl;
4 – Fit the tool suitable for the type of ingredients to be
processed (ref. Tab. 2);
5 – Lower the head of the appliance;
6 – Switch ON the appliance (ref. subsection "Switching
ON/OFF")
Proceed as follows if it is necessary to add ingredients
during the processing:
1 – Stop the appliance;
2 – Raise the head of the appliance;
3 – Add the desired ingredients;
4 – Lower the head of the appliance;
5 – Switch ON the appliance again.

Check that the bowl and the tool have ben
fitted correctly before switching ON the ap-

having correctly positioned the bowl may result in the
risk of cutting, slicing and trapping. Also take care du-
ring the operations for fitting/removing the tools and
bowl, and for raising/lowering the head that nobody
can place their hands or other parts of the body in
contact with the appliance to prevent any crushing/
trapping in the head's lifting joint or in other moving
parts.
5.5 Handling flour and similar products
To minimize the dust emission of flour and similar pro-
ducts, it is recommended to:
1. carefully handle the packaged products while minimi-
zing the height above the base of the bowl from which
they are poured;
2. carefully open the packages in the lower part of the
bowl in order to pour down the flour without creating a
cloud of dust.
