12 V Supply
It is ensured by the service battery, generally located under the passenger seat.
The service battery feeds the internal lighting and all systems and accessories of the housing.
On the contrary the motorhome battery feeds exclusively the electrical parts of the original body
shell. During the march the two batteries are recharged through the alternator through an apposite
battery charger, device that also allows the 12 V fridge functioning.
Switching the engine off the batteries (main battery and service battery) are automatically separated
one from the other through a relais and the 12 V fridge is deactivated. In this way it is avoided the risk
that the switching on-battery can be discharged from a user device of the housing. The switching on
possibility of the vehicle is therefore not influenced. The charge level of the passenger compartment
battery and that of the engine are visible on the control panel.
Avoid to feed the electrical devices with the 12V battery for a long period, without being connected
to the external current net and with the engine off, because the energy reserve of the service battery
allows the use for a limited period. To avoid that the service battery discharges quickly, the fridge is
fed at 12 V only with the engine on.
The 12V supply can be interrupted acting on the 12V master switch located on the control panel.
220 V net connection
The motorhome can be connected to a supply net with 220 V external current.
The connection point must not be more than 20 metres far from the motorhome.
The external 220V supply must be protected from a security switch for fault currents.(30mA).
220 V External connection cable
According to the CEI-64/8 regulations, part /, section 708, the connection cable between the sockets
of the 220 V net connection panel and the vehicle must respect the following features:
The plug and the socket must have a ground contact in conformity with the CEI 23-12 regulation;
The cable must be flexible, type H07 RN-F, or equivalent, with protection conductor with following
characteristics:
Max. length: 25 m
Min. section: 2,5 mm²
Identification colours of the souls: protection connector: "yellow/green",
Neutral conductor: "blue".
Main elements of the electrical system:
Control panel- devices control, battery test – tanks test
Distribution panel – general relais, battery parallel relais(12V-70A), fridge relais, pump relais,
engine battery charger, protection fuses
Battery charger – battery charge in tampon system
Sensors probe – it measures the content of the clear waters tank
Service battery – it feeds all service devices
Engine battery – it feeds all devices of the original chassis
Engine alternator – it recharges the engine battery and parallel services
220 V master switch – it feeds and protects the 220V devices
Fuses – they protect the engine and service batteries
