TLGB 20 Set up

Grease flow monitoring

• Flow accuracy is +/- 10% at ambient
temperature 32 °F (0 °C) - 95 °F (+35 °C)
and back pressure 0 psi - 4 000 psi
(0 bar - 275 bar). Precise delivery is not
measured outside these parameters.
• Meter accuracy is valid for use with
NLGI 1 and 2 EP Lithium grease.
• Resolution of meter is .1 oz and 0.1 g.
Install/replace grease
cartridge
1 Loosen grease tube assembly (1) from pump
assembly (9) a few turns, but do not
remove.
2 Pull back on follower handle (12) and latch
follower rod groove into slot on
tube cap († fig. 2).
3 Unscrew grease tube assembly (1) from
grease gun.

4 Remove plastic cap from grease cartridge
and insert cartridge into container tube.
5 Remove pull tab from grease cartridge and
screw grease tube assembly (1) into pump
assembly (9).
6 Thread grease tube assembly (1) back onto
power head.
7 Using follower handle (12), release follower
rod from slot.
NOTE
Air pockets in lubricant will cause gun to lose
prime and may cause inaccurate readings.
8 Purge air from grease tube by unscrewing
vent valve (8) 2-3 turns until grease flows
from valve († fig. 1, pg. 9).
9 Retighten vent valve (8). Refer to
Expelling air pockets, page 12.

Prime grease gun

Prime cordless grease gun after each refill or
grease cartridge change.
1 Open vent valve (8) († fig. 1, pg. 9).
2 Squeeze gun trigger until grease flows
from vent valve.
3 Close vent valve.
4 Press button "1" (4) for 3 seconds to clear
display of previous reading († fig. 3,
pg. 11).
