Preferences
Enter the menu. Select the «Programming» tab. The LED dis-
play will show the following coffee types: Espresso, Lungo, and
Double Espresso. Select the coffee type you want by pressing
the «Menu» button (17). The display will then show the follow-
ing: coffee volume in ml and dry coffee volume on a scale from
1 to 5 (fig. 5).
Set the desired volume of your coffee and the ground coffee
capacity and press the «Menu» button (17) to confirm.
Notes: the volume of the beverage can be set between 30 and
250 ml, the ground coffee volume can be set between level 1
and level 5.
Sound Notifications Settings
Enter the menu. Select the «Indication» tab (fig. 10).
Selecting «ON» on the Coffee Machine will turn on the sound indi-
cation, and pressing any button will produce a sound.
Using the «OFF» button on the Coffee Machine will turn on the
silent mode.
Confirm the sound indication by pressing the «Menu» button (17).
Water hardness
There are 3 degrees of water hardness to select from (fig. 9).
Enter the menu. Select the «Water hardness» tab and selected
the desired hardness. Use the «Menu» button (17) to confirm
your selection.
The Coffee Machine will notify you when descaling is required in
accordance with the selected hardness:
OFF: turn off the descaling notifications (not recommended);
Level 1: Descale after using 120 l of water;
Level 2: Descale after using 90 l of water;
Level 3: Descale after using 60 l of water;
Descaling
Descaling is a process of removing calcium carbonate (scales,
lime) residue from the heating elements of the Coffee Machine
by using chemical compounds. When the words «Add detergent»
(fig. 7) appear on the LED display (18) - enter the menu. Select
the «Descaling» tab and press the «Menu» button (17) to confirm
your selection.
Step 1
In order to start the descaling process, add the detergent and
water into the water tank (1), press the «Menu» button (17) to con-
firm. The words «Cleaning in progress» will appear on the display.
The pump will operate for 30 seconds, then it will stop for 3 min-
utes, and continue in this fashion for 11 cycles until the descaling
process is completed. The LED display (18) will show the words
«Replace water» (fig. 8).
Step 2
Replace the detergent in the water tank (1) with clean water and
press the «Menu» button (17) to confirm - the Coffee Machine
will start cleaning of its internal tube. The cleaning process will
be completed and will return to the main Menu once 1000 ml of
water has been pumped.
Factory settings
In order to restore the factory settings open the menu. Select the
«Factory settings» tab (fig. 11) and use the «Menu» button (17) to
confirm. The Coffee Machine will be reset to the factory settings.
Cups counter
Statistical function. Keeps the track of how many cups have been
made (fig. 12). To look up data on how much coffee has been
made by the Coffee Machine, enter the menu. Select the «Cups
counter» tab, use the «Menu» button (17) to confirm selection.
The LED display will show statistics on beverage types.
Administration Settings
Enter the menu. Select the «Administrator» tab, press the «Menu»
button and hold it down for 5 seconds - you will enter the
Administration Settings. These feature the following functions:
Calibration: users can perform dry ground coffee volume cali-
bration between -9 and +9 (fig. 13).
Drain water: this function will result in draining water from the
tank being heated up.
Use the «Menu» button (17) to confirm the settings selection.
Eco mode
Enter the menu. Select the «Eco mode» tab, press the «Menu»
button (17). Select the desired automatic shutdown delay from
the following options: 0.5, 2, 9 hours and shutdown after last
usage of the Coffee Machine. Use the «Menu» button (17) to con-
firm selection.
Fan Settings
Enter the menu. Select the «Venting» tab, press the «Menu»
button (17). Switch the mode on and off using the buttons (15)
and (16). Use the «Menu» button (17) to confirm selection. The
Manufacturer recommends to keep this function on for more even
steam distribution.
Coffee grinding degree adjustment
Coffee grinding degree can be adjusted during grinder operation.
Open the container (2) lid. Turn the grinding degree control knob
(3) (fig. 14). Turn the knob (3) counter-clockwise for more fine
grind and a stronger taste, or clockwise for less fine grind and
a softer taste.
