After use

Risk of injury!

Always switch the motor off before you put the power tool down! When the On/Off
switch is released, the saw chain continue running briefly.
Stop the engine.
Wait until all rotating parts have come to a standstill.
Remove the battery.
Place sheath on cutting mechanism.
Activate chain brake.
Leave power tool to cool down.

Sawing technique
Pull stroke sawing
With this technique the underside of the saw rail saws from top to bottom.
The saw chain pushes the power tool forwards away from the user. The front edge of
the power tool forms a support which absorbs the forces which occur when sawing on
the tree trunk.
In pull stroke sawing the user has much more control over the power tool and can
