„ Do not apply paint or other coatings to the faceplate.
„ Only lightly grease the latchbolt head 1x annually. The gear unit is lubricated for life and is
therefore maintenance-free.
„ To avoid mishandling or unauthorised access, remove the key and do not leave it inserted.
„ If the door contact (TK) is not used, bridge the "TK" contact (see "4.3 Wiring diagrams", page 51).
„ When using the optional top-locking feature, ensure for the movement of the vertical rod.
When closing or opening, the vertical rod must move in freewheel. The vertical rod must not
make any contact with the striker.

Function

„ When closing the door, the lock locks automatically.
„ In the locked initial position, the door can be opened from the panic side at any time via the
door hardware (panic function).
„ When operating the key to the stop in the opening direction, the latchbolt is pulled in.
Passage is possible.
„ If the key is operated to the stop in the opening direction and is then removed, the initial
position is automatically established.
The position of the latchbolt depends on the state of the door:
– Door opened: the latchbolt moves to the "Latch" position (latchbolt is extended by 12 mm).
– Door closed: the latchbolt moves to the "Deadbolt" position (latchbolt is extended by 20 mm)
„ The latchbolt can be retracted completely by means of an electric motor via the "Unlock" control
signal. Passage is possible.

Scope of delivery, transport and storage

The scope of delivery must be checked to make sure it is complete and undamaged. In the event
of damage, inform the specialist dealer. Only install and commission products that are in perfect
technical condition.
The delivery consists of the following products:

„ Supplementary sheet with QR code for the instructions: C59841070
Only store the product in its original packaging and under the following conditions:
„ Only store in dry, clean and moderately ventilated spaces indoors, and not outdoors. The
storage location must be free of movements and/or vibrations.
„ Observe the environmental conditions, see "2.3 Technical data", page 36.
„ Do not expose the goods stored to aggressive media or sunlight.
„ Regularly inspect the general condition of the product during longer storage periods.
Only transport the product in its original packaging. Make sure the goods are secured during
transportation to prevent them from falling and ensure protection against moisture. Also avoid hard
impacts.
