3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a)
Unplug the mains plug and allow the device to cool
completely before each cleaning, adjustment or
replacement of accessories, or if the device is not
being used.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
d)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
e)
Do not allow water to get inside the device through
vents in the housing of the device.
f)
Clean the vents with a brush and compressed air.
g)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical efficiency and spot any damage.
h)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
i)
Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be
used for a longer period of time.
j)
Smoke liquid of poor quality may cause clogging. It
is recommended to use high-quality special smoke
liquid.
k)
The device can get clogged when: the smoke
liquid is too thick or contaminated or as a result of
overheating. It is recommended to perform regular
cleaning and maintenance.
l)
After 40 hours of use, remove dirt build-up inside the
heating tube:
•
Clean the nozzle, the tube leading to the tank
and the filter head,
•
Empty the liquid tank, pour cleaning solution
(80% distilled water and 20% white vinegar or
special solution designed for cleaning smoke
generators), switch on the device and let it
operate until all the cleaning solution is used up.
Remove the remaining liquid and dry the tank.
Before you use the device again, fill the tank with
special smoke liquid.

Please remember that during operation the tank must
never be empty. If this does happen, immediately turn
off the smoke generator using the On/Off switch and
wait until the device cools down. When the device has
cooled down, fill the tank.
n)
If smoke is not sprayed, it means that the device is
warming up the liquid or that the warming-up phase
has not finished.
o)
If the device is to remain unused for long periods of
time, empty the tank.
SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
12V A23 batteries are installed in the devices. Remove
used batteries from the device using the same procedure
by which you installed them. Recycle batteries with the
appropriate organisation or company.

DISPOSING OF USED DEVICES
Do not dispose of this device in municipal waste systems.
Hand it over to an electric and electrical device recycling
and collection point. Check the symbol on the product,
instruction manual and packaging. The plastics used to
construct the device can be recycled in accordance with their
markings. By choosing to recycle you are making a significant
contribution to the protection of our environment. Contact
local authorities for information on your local recycling
facility.
