PREPARING FOR USE / USING THE ATTACHMENTS
• Take the vacuum cleaner and attachments out of the box and
completely remove all packing and padding material.
• Insert the connection nozzle of the suction hose into the suction hose
socket on the appliance. Make sure that the nozzle locks into place.
• To remove the suction hose, press the release button on the connection
nozzle and pull the suction hose out of the suction hose socket.
• Attach the telescopic tube to the end of the curved handhold on the
suction hose.
• The length of the telescopic tube can be adjusted using the twist-and-
lock mechanism. To release the lock, turn in the direction of the arrow
and move the tube in or out to the desired length. Make sure that the
mechanism locks back into place at the new length.
• The appliance comes with a variety of nozzles (combination crevice tool/upholstery nozzle and floor nozzle) Simply
pull off and push on the desired attachment to the end of the suction hose as needed.
• The combination crevice tool/upholstery nozzle can be stored in the handy storage compartment, located on the
back of the vacuum cleaner housing.
• The adjustment lever on the floor nozzle can be used to adjust cleaning for the appropriate surfaces (carpeted
floors or hard floors).
• If desired, the nozzle attachments can be attached directly to the suction hose (without using the telescopic tube).
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
• Before using the vacuum cleaner, make sure that the dust collector and the filter insert located inside the dust
collector are correctly in place.
• Also make sure that the motor protection filter and the motor outlet filter are correctly in place.
• Missing or incorrectly installed filters can damage the motor of your vacuum cleaner.
• Next, correctly replace the dust collector cover and lock into position.
• Place the vacuum cleaner in a horizontal position.
• Pull out the power cable as far as you need. The yellow marker on the power cable shows the recommended cable
length. Do not pull the power cable out past the red marker.
• Put the plug into a plug socket.
• Do not pull on the power cable! To avoid pulling on the power cable when using the vacuum cleaner, turn the
appliance off briefly, and plug it in to a nearer plug socket.
• Use the sliding suction power control to adjust the suction of
your vacuum cleaner to the desired level.
