Volume
• Set the desired volume with the VOLUME button (10).
• Warning: Extreme volume from excessive sound pressure leads to permanent
hearing damage.
Keylock
• Slide the LOCK switch (14) down to block all buttons other than the LIGHT
button (3). A key symbol
• Slide the LOCK switch up to unlock. The key symbol disappears.
Illuminating display
• Press the LIGHT button (3) to switch on the illumination display. The display (6)
will illuminate for approximately 7 seconds.

Connecting headphones

• This device has a 3.5mm headphone jack (19) into which you can connect most
commercially available headphones or earphones (not included).
• A loudspeaker symbol
are connected to the device and when a radio station is set. Once you remove
the headphones from the jack, the symbol disappears.
Resetting to factory settings (RESET)
• Open the battery compartment (24) and remove the batteries.
• Press the RESET button (23) on the floor of the battery compartment.
