The Suzuki RG 500 is considered to be an icon of two-wheel racing motorcycles of the 1970s.
It was specifically developed by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki for the racing world, and
built around the reliable and powerful 4-cylinder 500cc 2-stroke engine which provided up to
90 HP. With this bike Suzuki participated in the world championships in the 500 class, achiev-
ing an incredible series of consecutive victories that led to it retaining the "constructors" title
for several years. One of the architects of this successful period was the British rider Barry
Sheene, who also won the "pilots" title for two consecutive years, in 1976 and 1977. In addi-
tion to international competitions, the Suzuki RG 500 was particularly appreciated by private
riders who raced it in both international competitions and in minor leagues.

La Suzuki RG 500 si può sicuramente considerare un punto di riferimento delle competizioni
su due ruote degli anni '70. Venne specificatamente sviluppata dal produttore giapponese
per il mondo delle corse e realizzata attorno all'affidabile e potente motore 4 cilindri 500cc
2 tempi di oltre 90 CV. Con questa moto Suzuki ha partecipato al motomondiale ella classe
500 ottenendo una incredibile serie di vittorie consecutive che la portarono a detenere per
diversi anni il titolo "costruttori". Tra gli artefici di questi successi possiamo ricordare il pilota
britannico Barry Sheene che vinse anche il titolo "piloti" per due anni consecutivi, nel 1976 e
nel 1977. Oltre alle competizioni internazionali, la Suzuki RG 500 fu particolarmente apprez-
zata anche dai piloti privati che correvano nelle competizioni internazionali e in in campionati
minori.

Die Suzuki RG 500 kann sicherlich als ein Meilenstein des Zweiradrennsports in den 70er
Jahren angesehen werden. Sie wurde von dem japanischen Hersteller speziell für den
Rennsport entwickelt und um den sicheren und leistungsstarken 4-Zylinder 500ccm 2-Takt-
Motor mit über 90 PS herum gebaut. Mit diesem Motorrad nahm Suzuki an der 500ccm-
Weltmeisterschaft teil und erzielte zahlreiche aufeinanderfolgende Siege, was ihnen mehrere
Jahre lang zum „Hersteller"-Titel verhalf. Zu den Urhebern der Erfolge zählt sicherlich auch der
britische Motorradrennfahrer Barry Sheene , der in den zwei aufeinander folgenden Jahren
1976 und 1977 den WM-Titel gewann. Neben der internationalen Konkurrenz war die Su-
zuki RG 500 auch bei Privatfahrern beliebt, die bei internationalen Rennen und kleineren
Wettkämpfen antraten.

ATTENTION - Useful advice!
Study the instructions carefully prior to assembly. Remove parts from frame with a sharp knife or a pair of scissor and trim away excess plastic.
Do not pull ol parts. Assemble the parts in numerical sequence. Use plastlc cement ONLY and use cement sparingly to avoid damaging
the model. These letters (A - B - C...) indicate on which frame the parts will be found. Paint small parts before detaching them from frame.
Remove paint where parts are to be cemented. Crossed out parts must not be used. Before comenting together chromium plated parts
remove the plating on those sides to be cemented.

ATTENZIONE - Consigli utili!
Prima di iniziare il montaggio studiare attentamente il disegno. Staccare con molta cura i pezzi dalle stampate, usando un taglia-balsa
oppure un paio di forbici e togliere con una piccola lima o con carta vetro fine eventuali sbavature. Mai staccare i pezzl con le mani. Montarli
seguendo l'ordine delle numerazione delle tavole. Eliminare dalla stampata il numero del pezzo appena montato facendogli sopra una
croce. Usare solo colla per polistirolo. Le lettere (A - B - C...) ai lati dei numeri indicano la stampata ove si trova il pezzo da montare. I pezzl
sbarrati da una croce non sono da utilizzare.Le parti cromate vanno accuratamente raschiate nei punti in cui dovranno essere incollate.

Vor der Montage die Zeichnung aufmerksam studieren. Die einzeinen Montageteile mit einem Messer oder einer Schere vom Spritzling
sorfälling entfernen. Eventuelle Grate werden mit eicer Klinge oder feinem Schmirgelpapier beseitigt. Keinesfalls die Montageteile mit den
Händen entfernen. Bei der Montage der Tafelnumerieung folgen. Bitte nur Plastikklebstoff verwenden. Die Buchstaben (A - B - C...) neben den
Nummeren zeigt,auf welchem Spritzling der zu montierende Tèil zu finden ist. Die mit einem Kreuz markierten Teile sind nicht zu verwenden.
Bei den verchromten teilen muss man an den stellen, die aneinandergeklebt werden, den chrom abschmirgein.

Avant de commencer le montage, étudier attentivement le dessin. Détacher avec beacoup de soin les morceaux des moules en usant un
massicot ou bien un pair de cisaux et couper avec une petite lame avec de papier de vitre fin ébarbagés eventuels. Jamais détacher les
morceaux avec le mains Monter les en suivant l'ordre de la numération des tables. Eliminer de la moule le numéro de la pièce qui vient
d'être montée, en le biffant avec une croix. Employer seulement de la colle pour polystirol. Les lettres (A - B - C...) aux côtés des numéros
indiquent la moule où se trouve la pièces a monter. Les pièces marquèes par une croix ne sont pas a utiliser. Les parties cromées doivent
étre soigneusement ràclées dans les points où elles devront étre collées.

Estudiar las instrucciones cuidadosamente antes de comenzar el montaje. Separar las piezas de las bandejas con un
cuchillo afilado o un par de tijeras y retirar el exceso de plástico o rebada. No arrancar las piezes. Montar las piezas en
orden numérico. Utilizar SOLAMENTE pegamento para plástico y en poca cantidad para evitar que se dane el modelo. .
Las letras (A - B - C...) indican en que bándeja se encuentran las piezas. Pintar las piezas pequeñas antes de separarlas
de la bandeja. Retirar la pintura de los lugares por donde se deban pegar las piezas.
