5.4 Earthing the measuring instrument
The case of the FMX-004 is made of a conductive plastic which provides an earth reference for
the measuring circuit. To ensure accurate measurement, the person performing the
measurement must be in good contact with earth, or the instrument must be earthed using the
supplied grounding lead.
