Checking the threads of the castellated nut and of the tie-rod:
Remove the nut cover (14), split-pin (9) and the castellated nut (1). Check the
condition of the threads of the nut (1) and of the tie-rod (3). In case there are
any signs of play or seizure the parts must be replaced immediately;

Check that the wear of the hook (13) is within the recommended limits shown in
the figure;
