Features
Detector indicates the location of metal elements and live AC wire in walls, ceilings and floor / detec-
ted elements: metal elements, live AC wires (AC 90-250 V ~ / 50-60 Hz) / detection range: copper
pipes / max. 20 mm, metal pipes - max. 40 mm, live AC wires – max. 80 mm / power supply: DC
9 V  battery (not included) / operating conditions: +5°C ~ +40°C / LED and sound indicator

Shielded cables, low-voltage signal cables (CAN, computer) and telephone wires

will not be detected by the detector / AC wires located deeper than the detector's
maximum range will not be detected / Live AC wires in metal pipes, metal walls or
metal-covered insulation will not be detected / The detector is able to detect only AC
live wires. Cables with DC current will not be detected. DC wires are detected in metal
detection mode only / Do not use the detector on wet, damp or covered with aluminum
or metal surface.
Detection
1. Select detection mode with the switch  (PRZEWÓD – AC wires, METAL – metal elements, DC wires).
2. Place the detector perpendicular to the wall.
3. Press and hold the detector switch . LED turns on .
4. Keeping the switch  pressed, slowly move the detector to the right and left on the wall. Avoid
lifting the device or changing the ground pressure while scanning. Do not tilt the device or make
circular movements while scanning.
5. When the detector approaches the detected object: the diode  will blink and an audible signal will
sound.
6. When the detector detects the edge of detected element, the diode  will light up. Mark this place
with a pencil and move the detector slowly in the same direction until the sound signal turns off and
the diode stops lighting .
7. Repeat steps 2-5 by moving the detector on the other side to detect the second edge of the detected
object.
8. The center of the detected object is between the marked edges of the object.
Before scanning, remove metal jewelry from your hands and hands (watches, rings, bra-

celets) / During the measurement, the detector should be held with one hand and the
other hand should be kept more than 15 cm from the detector / It is recommended to
carry out the measurement several times in order to obtain the most precise result / If
the signal is weak or unstable, select a different measurement location / If the diode
blinks at every detection point, it may mean that there is an electrostatic phenomenon
on the detected surface, which makes it unsuitable for measurements. To discharge
the static charge, place your hand flat against the wall near the detector and repeat
the detection procedure / If the wires are placed horizontally, the measurement
should be carried out by moving the device up and down.
