1.- Place the container on the hob
Place the food container in the centre of the ceramic hob.
Make sure that the air inlet and outlet are not obstructed. No metal cutlery or utensils should
be in contact with the hob.
2.- Connect
When you connect the hob, you will hear a warning signal and the "STANDBY" light will come
on.
3.- Turn on
When you press the "on/off" button, you will hear a warning signal. The "ON/OFF" LED and
the "HEATING" indicator will come on. In the meantime, the "STANDBY" indicator will have
gone out.
4.- Adjust temperature
Once the hob is activated, press the "SELECT" button and choose the "Temp." function to
adjust the temperature. In "temperature mode", the default level is 200ºC. Reduce or increase
the temperature in a range from 60ºC to 240ºC by pressing the "+" or "-" key.
5.- Heat
Press the "SELECT" button and choose the "HEATING" function to adjust the power. In "power
mode", the default level is 1200W. Reduce or increase the power
in a range from 500W to 2000W by pressing the "+" or "-" key.
6.- Child safety lock
When the hob is in operation, pressing the lock button will prevent children
from operating the hob. When you press it, you will hear a warning signal. This lock inactivates
all controls except the "LOCK" button (Safety lock) and the main ON/OFF switch.
To deactivate the safety lock, press the "LOCK" button again and you will hear a warning
signal.
7.- Timer
When you press the "Timer" button when the hob is in operation, you will hear a warning
signal, the display will flash and show "0:00", indicating that the hob is in "timer mode".
Each time you press "+" or "-", the time will increase or decrease by 1 minute; if you hold it
down, the time will increase or decrease quickly, with an increase of up to 10 minutes in a
range of 0 to 180 minutes.
Once the time has been set, it is stored once the display has flashed for 5 seconds (the storing
is thereby confirmed). The timer is inactive if set to "0".
In "timer mode", pressing the "Timer" button twice will cancel the timer.
At the end of the timing period, the hob will automatically switch off.
8.- Disconnect
Once you have finished cooking/heating food, press the ON/OFF button to deactivate the hob.
Once deactivated, the fan will continue to operate for 1 minute to cool the hob; then remove
the cable from the power outlet and clean the outside of the hob.
