Accuracy check

Transport and Cleaning
During transportation and storage the unit should be in its case or bag.
Please clean especially the surfaces at the exit opening of the laser. Avo-
id fluff of fibres. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents. Use a moist, soft
cloth. Do not put the instrument under water or other liquids.
Verification of the horizontal accuracy

1) Position the instrument on a tripod about 30 m from a wall. Switch
the instrument on and allow it to level. Mark the height of the laserline
on the wall (H1).
2) Loosen the tripod screw and turn the instruments by 180°. Allow it
to self-level again. Mark the height of the laser beam on the wall (H2).
3) Measure the distance between your markings H1 and H2. If it is 6
mm or less, the horizontal accuracy is within tolerance. If the distance
exceeds 6 mm, the instruments needs to be sent to an authorized ser-
vice center.
