Charge Of The Battery - AWELCO THOR 750 Bedienungsanleitung

THOR 750 12 – 24V
Current feed 230V.
Maximum charging current: 100A at 12V.
Maximum starting current 750A at 1,5V.
It is suitable for starting cars, vans, tractors and lorries. This charger starter allows to effect remote vehicle's starting by the
means of a 5 mt. remote control cable.
On the control panel we have:
1) Starter amperometer
2) Charge amperometer
3) Eight positions amperage commutator for the choice of the our rent of charge.
4) ON-OFF power switch.
On the back side of the apparatus we have:
5) Fuse block compartment
6) 24V voltage outlet
7) 12V voltage outlet
8) Remote control

CHARGE OF THE BATTERY

12V
1) Choose the voltage by connecting positive holder into the 12V outlet N.7
2) Connect the red clamp to the (+) (positive terminal) of the battery and the black clamp to a metallic part of the
uninsulated vehicle's body.
3) Connect the primary cable to a socket having on earth connection.
4) Choose the "ON" position by the means of the commutator N.4
3) Choose the charging current by the means of the commutator N.3
24V
1) Choose the voltage by connecting positive holder into the 24V outlet N.8
2) Proceed exactly as to charge at 12V.
STARTING
12V
1) Proceed as to charge the battery at 12V, until N.4) point.
2) Place commutator No.3 in position 8.
3) Press the two buttons on the remote control – The booster will run choosing the right amperage.
4) After having done the starting, disconnect the apparatus from the battery or on the other hand change it over in
CHARGE.
24V
1) Proceed as to charge the battery at 24V, until N.4) point
2) Place commutator No.3 in position 8.
3) Press the two buttons on the remote control – The booster will run choosing the right amperage.
4) After having done the starting, disconnect the apparatus from the battery or on the other hand change it over in
CHARGE.
