The manufacturer declines any responsibility:
• If the instructions of the standard C.E.I. 64.8 (IEC 364) concerning the electric system of
the house are not respected.
• If the installation and maintenance instructions contained in this manual are not
complied with.
• If the bathtub is not used or installed in compliance with the C.E.I. EN 60335-1 and C.E.I.
EN 60335-2-60 standards.
• If the special maintenance is not carried out by qualified personnel.
• Please read this instructions manual carefully in all its parts before using the product.
• Keep the instructions manual for further consultation.
• Wilux reserves the right to make any changes considered suitable without being obliged
to giving prior notice or to substitute.
• This product is intended only for the use for which it has been designed. The
manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use. The eventual
professional use of the bathtub has to be clarified at the moment the bathtub is ordered.
• The product identification data (model, power, voltage, manufacturer's name, degree of
protection against water) are contained in the silver label placed on the control unit. The
guarantee number of the bathtub is to be found on the Wilux drop placed on the motor.
• The installation must be carried out by a nationally recognized technician, which has to
take into account the regulations in force conforming to C.E.I. EN 60335-1 and C.E.I. EN
60335-2-60.
• The main cable must be permanently connected to a water resistant connection box.
The electricity supply, 230 V.A.C. – single phase -, must be connected by a double
contact circuit breaker (30mA) to the earth wire a minimum contact opening of 3mm.
• Should the main cable be damaged, it must be replaced with an original one, available
from the Service Assistance Wilux, phoning ++31 348 46 20 30, faxing ++31 348 43 00
88 or mailing to wilux@wilux.nl.
• The metal frame must have an earth. A yellow/green electric wire with a diameter of
4mm or eventually a white electrical wire of 6mm has to be used for this purpose. The
wire will be fixed on a clamp placed on the frame.
• Install a differential contactor to switch off power of the bathtub when not in use.
• The bathtub must be installed in such a way that the electrical components cannot be
touched using the bathtub.
