7 Cutting Pylon to length
Note: the following instructions assume the use of the male, sliding, rotating pyramid. If an
alternative adaptor is required, this should be taken into account throughout the build process.
use appropriate health and safety equipment at all times including extraction facilities

Cut the pylon 10-15mm longer than required
and assemble fitting clamp (941255).

Tighten fitting clamp bolts to 15Nm (check each
screw at least twice).

Remove socket, place fitting clamp in the vice
and cut blade to length. Fit shoulder screws to
prevent damage to components

Fit socket to fitting clamp top housing and
tighten pyramid screws (15Nm). Refer to
alignment page for initial set up.

Stand user, carry out dynamic alignment and
walking trials. Adjust height to achieve definitive
length with weight evenly
distributed.

Drill two 8.1 dia. holes through drill bushes.
