The unit must be transported in the original packing to avoid damage. The packing comprises; the unit in the soft carrying case packed with foam into an outer cardboard box. Techne accepts no responsibility for damage incurred unless the unit is correctly packed and transported in this way. -

The cooling fan in the calibrator will automatically switch off if there is a chilled water supply. A Techne CH-5 chiller may be used to supply chilled water but in an ambient above 20°C it may not achieve the lowest temperatures. Switch on the chiller unit before the calibrator and allow the chiller to stabilise for 15 minutes before performing a calibration. -
