General instructions
Safe use of telescopic ladders
Never stand higher than on the last unmarked rung.
Do not stand on the ladder for a long time without taking breaks regularly
(tiredness entails risks).
Prevent transport damage, for example, by laying down the ladder properly.
Only use a ladder that is suitable for the job.
Do not use a 'dirty' ladder e.g., soiled by wet paint, mud, oil or snow.
Do not use the ladder during bad weather, such as during high winds.
A risk analysis, according to the applicable legislation of the country in which the ladder is
used professionally, must be carried out.
During positioning the ladder, consider the risks of collusions e.g., by pedestrians, vehicles or
doors. If possible, secure windows and doors (except emergency exit doors) in the work area.
Use non-conductive ladders for unavoidable work on electricity.
