Use
Do not use the device for ceramic knives or very sensitive steel blades (such as
special Japanese knives).
Do not use the device for brand new knives.
Do not apply excessive mechanical force during sharpening.
The blades must be clean and dry before sharpening.
Be careful not to cut yourself when sharpening the blade. Wear protective gloves if
necessary.
• Place the knife sharpener on a level and stable surface and hold it by the handle.
• Pull the blade that you want to sharpen from the front to the back through the numbered slots
several times (at least 3 to 4 times, depending on the condition of the blade).

Always insert the blade at the handle end and then pull it towards you through the
slots. Always pull in this direction and avoid moving back and forth.
Only apply a small amount of pressure when pulling the blade through the slots.
• Rinse the sharpened knife carefully after sharpening.
Care and cleaning
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol, organic solvents or other
chemical solutions, as these may damage the device or prevent it from functioning
properly.
Wipe the knife sharpener with a damp cloth and then rub it dry. Use a small brush to clean
the slots.
Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with the applicable regulatory
guidelines.
