4. Start-up

The actuator plate is ready for operation if it has been correctly installed and
connected to the power supply. The control buttons for the basic functions start to
light up automatically when they get close to the toilet. Settings can be made via the
remote control.
You can adapt the presence detection to the spatial conditions in your bathroom
(see 6.4 Setting the presence detection).

5. Basics of touch-free operation

The actuator plate A2 is a sensor-controlled actuator plate. The operation of the basic
functions - long flush, short flush and odour extraction (only the #WD1014) -
is carried out directly via the actuator plate A2 (see 1.1 Actuator plate A2). Further
settings can be made with the remote control that is supplied (see 1.2 Remote
control).
The flushing functions and, if necessary, the odour extraction are triggered when you
hold your hand in front of the appropriate controls. The trigger range starts approx.
1 cm in front of the actuator plate. It is possible, but not necessary, to touch the
actuator plate to trigger the functions.
