Problem
Severe flare-ups and uneven
heat
Burner power on high power is
too weak
The burner only burns on one
side
smell of gas

Cause
Too much fat and ash on the
grids, flame deflectors,
reflector plates, the burners or
in the fat drip pan
Gas bottle empty
Pressure reducer defective
gas mixture and temperature
The gas hose is pinched
Dirty or clogged openings
Spider webs or other debris in
venturi tube
"Cross-connection slot" on
back of burner clogged
gas leak

Fix
Clean the grill regularly
according to the specification.
Change the gas bottle if
necessary.
Check and, if necessary,
change the gas pressure
reducer on your gas bottle.
Check whether you are using a
gas mixture that is suitable for
the outside temperature.
Especially when the outside
temperature is low, make sure
that sufficient gas can
evaporate in the bottle and
that it is not iced up (due to
massive power consumption).
Reposition the gas supply
hose.
Clean the burner orifice and
make sure the gas nozzles are
not clogged.
Clean the venturi tube and
ensure an unobstructed gas
supply.
Please clean the burner incl.
gas outlet holes and cross
connection slot.
Immediately switch off the gas
supply at the regulators and
directly at the gas source,
check for leaks and tighten the
connections if necessary.
