SPEAKER TYPE enables you to select the
model of Audica speaker you are using for
each position in your system. If the speaker is
not an Audica, select GENERIC. If you do not
have a speaker in this position (centre and
rear speakers only), select OFF. If using an
Audica CS-LCR set the centre to LCR and
the front left and right will default to LCR also.
SPEAKER POSITION enables you to select
the placement of your speakers. Choose
from WALL-MOUNT, SHELF-MOUNT,
FREE 1 (floor standing) or ON GEO STAND
(front centre and LCR only).
SPEAKER DISTANCE enables you to set
the distance that each speaker is from the
listener. The AVR-1 will automatically correct
for these distances when playing. use the
CURSOR key to scroll through distances.
With TEST TONE and AUTO selected, you
can check that all speaker volumes are
equal. If you want to adjust the volume of a
particular speaker, select the 'MANUAL'
option and choose the speaker to adjust with
the
CURSOR key. Then you can set the
relative volume of that speaker with the
VOLUME keys.
