FIELD OF APPLICATION & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

FIELD OF APPLICATION

The pump is designed especially for the extraction of rainwater from
rainwater systems and for the irrigation of green areas.
The pump is fully floodable and is immersed in the water. The maximum
immersion depth is 12 m. The pump automatically controls the delivery of
water based on the user's water requirements.
Please note:
Do not pump salt water, dirty water, corrosive, easily flammable or
explosive substances (e.g. petrol, paraffin, nitro thinner), oils, fuel oil and
foodstuffs. The water temperature must not exceed 35 °C.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions carefully before starting the pump. The pump
may only be used for your purpose.
Mains plugs must be splash-proof, cables must not be shortened. Make
sure that the electrical plug connections are located in the flood-proof
area. Protect the power cord and plug from heat, sharp edges and oil.
Observe mains voltage. The information on the type plate of the pump
must correspond with the data of the mains supply. If the pump is used in
swimming pools, the mains plug must be disconnected when persons are
present in the pool. Do not pull the mains plug out of the socket by the
mains cable, but by the mains plug housing. Do not use the power cord to
transport or attach the pump. Use a rope or handle to immerse or pull up
the pump.
Perform visual inspections at regular intervals. Check the connecting
cables for damage. If there is any damage, contact specialists and do not
use the pump.
In case of overload, the pump is switched off by the built-in thermal motor
protection. The pump restarts itself after cooling down. The warranty is
excluded if the cause of the defect is due to improper handling or non-
observance of the safety instructions by the customer.
