WARNING
Observe the safety notices each time
before using the appliance!
Preparing the steam
generator iron
1. Remove all packaging, film, etc. before
first use.
2. Make sure that the soleplate (5) is clean
and dry.
3. Place the steam generator iron (9) on a
stable and level surface.

Preparing the anti-limescale

cartridge

Before using the anti-limescale cartridge for
the first time, it must be immersed in tap wa-
ter for half an hour.
1. Push the locking mechanism (12) on the
top of the water tank handle (11) and pull
the water tank out.
2. Pull out the anti-limescale cartridge (24).
3. Leave the anti-limescale cartridge in tap
water for half an hour.
4. Take the anti-limescale cartridge out of
the water and put it back in the steam
generator iron (9).

Filling the water tank

WARNING
Risk of short circuit!
Any water that has seeped into the
appliance may cause a short circuit or
electrocution. It is then possible that
you could injure yourself if you come
into contact with the appliance.
■ Do not open or leave the water tank
inlet open during operation.
1. Push the locking mechanism (12) on the
top of the water tank handle (11) and pull
the water tank out.
2. Open the tank cap (25).

3. Fill the water tank up to the MAX mark
with cold, clean tap water.

4. Close the tank cap.
5. Insert the water tank into the steam gen-
erator iron (9).
