· Do not allow the power cord to dangle and place the device in a way that no one can fall over the cord.
· Risk of burns or injury!
Caution: During use the housing surfaces get very hot. Even after use there is residual heat. Touch the
water kettle at the handle only.
During cooking, hot steam emerges from the spout. Be careful not to come into contact with it.
· Do not carry or move the appliance as long as it is in operation and as long as it is hot.
· Do not open the lid before the boiling process has ended.
· Ensure that the water kettle is switched off before you remove it from its base.
· Remove the main plug every time after use, and also:
– in the event of malfunction whilst in operation
– every time that it is being cleaned
Do not pull on the connecting cable but on the plug itself.
· Never immerse the appliance, the base, the cable or the plug in water or other liquids. Do not clean in
the dishwasher.
· Clean the device regularly with commercially available descaling agents.
· Never use the device if you discover damage, if water has entered the housing, or if the device has fallen.
· Check the power cord before every use for damage. If the power cord is damaged, it must definitely be
replaced by the manufacturer, his service agent or similar qualified and authorized experts in order to
prevent hazards.
· Never attempt to open or repair the appliance yourself. In the event of a malfunction, have the appliance
repaired by qualified experts only! Contact your authorized dealer whenever the appliance is in need of
repairs.
· Only operate the kettle with the associated base plate. Use the base plate only for the kettle.
