Initial Operation

• Only connect the machine to a properly installed
safety socket, 230 V/50 Hz.
CAUTION: OVERLOAD
Do not use any extension leads or multiple sockets,
as this device is too powerful.
• Make sure that the degree of protection of the socket
to which the device is connected is of at least 10 am-
pere!
• Place the device on any heat-resistant fl at surface.
Ensure that air can enter and leave unhindered.
• The distance from the air inlet grille to the nearest
wall should be at least 20 cm. The distance from the
air outlet grille to the nearest wall should be at least
1 m.
Switching On/Off
• Press the button (2) to switch the device on. The
display lights up in standby mode.
• Press the MODE button (D). The display changes to
operating mode.
• Press the button (2) again to switch the device off .
Power Levels
The device has two heating levels. In each level you can
set the temperature from min. + 5°C to max. + 30°C.
Low – low power level (approx. 1200 W)
High – high power level (approx. 2400 W)
Fan – ventilator (cold level)
MODE – Controlling Room Temperature
Setting the „Low" Operating Mode
• Press the MODE button. The word „Low" fl ashes in
the display.
• Set the desired temperature with the UP
DOWN button (E/F). The display shows the symbol
(H) and the current temperature.
• If you would like to change the temperature, press
the UP or DOWN button again. The temperature
is increased or reduced by 1°C with every press of the
buttons. The „Temperature" display fl ashes.
• If no button is pressed within 5 seconds, the display
changes back to the current temperature.
NOTE:
In standby or operating mode the current temperature
in Celsius (° C) is permanently shown.
Setting the „High" Operating Mode
• Press the MODE button again or twice. The word
„High" fl ashes in the display.
• Press the UP or

• If you would like to change the temperature, press
the UP or DOWN button again. With every
press of the button the temperature is increased or

• If no button is pressed within 5 seconds, the display
changes back to the current temperature.
NOTE:
The temperature that has been set is automatically
maintained by the thermostat. The set temperature has
to be at least 3°C above the current room temperature
for the heater to be switched on.
During operation the temperature shown diff ers by a
few degrees from the actual room temperature. This
is due to the measuring equipment used and does
not mean that the device is faulty. When the heater
switches off during operation the ventilator continues
running for a few seconds in order to prevent the
build-up of heat in the device.
Cold air operation
Press the MODE button three times to switch the ventila-
tor on. The „Fan" fl ashes in the display and the symbol
rotates. The ventilator is working and cold air is emitted.
Oscillation
In order to achieve uniform heating and ventilation the
device is also equipped with an oscillation function. This
function is available in all three modes of operation.
• Press the button (4) in order to switch the oscillati-
on mode on and off . The device stops in its current
position.
CAUTION:
• Never move the swivel mechanism by hand, as
otherwise the mechanism might be damaged.
• Only button 4 should be used to change the direc-
tion of ventilation.
Switch-off Timer (max. 12 hours)
With the switch-off timer the device is automatically
switched off after a preset time.
1. Select an operating mode.
2. Press the „ TIMER" button once. The digital display
on the control panel fl ashes and shows 01:00 (hour).
3. Press the „ TIMER" button again to set the switch-
off time. The length of time increases by 1 hour every
time the button is pressed (01, 02.....12, then back to
the beginning).
4. If no button is pressed within 5 seconds the count-
down starts automatically. The display shows the
time that has already elapsed. After the set time has
elapsed the device switches off .
