• The battery in the battery pack must not be disassembled, thrown into a fire or short- circui-
ted.
• Only use the original battery charger (type P-050 B) to charge the battery pack. The battery
charger is designed for indoor use only and must not be exposed to moisture.
• Use the battery-operated heating pad as follows
– only connect it to the voltage specified on the appliance
– only use it with the original AP2 battery pack supplied
– do not operate it unattended
– never switch on when folded or compressed
– do not wedge it between objects
– do not bend it sharply
– do not use it with animals
– do not use it when damp
• Do not operate it along with other heating devices such as heated car seats or heating un-
derblankets.
• Never pull, twist or make any sharp kinks in the cables.
• Do not stick pins or pointed objects into this battery-operated heating pad.
• This battery-operated heating pad may not be used by children unless the switch has been
preset by a parent or supervisory person, or the child has been sufficiently instructed on how
to use this battery-operated heating pad safely.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not use the heating pad as a toy.
• This battery-operated heating pad must be checked often for signs of wear or damage.
If signs of this kind are discovered, or if this battery-operated heating pad has been used
incorrectly, it must be checked by the manufacturer or dealer before it is used again.
• Repairs may only be carried out by specially trained personnel at a repair workshop autho-
rized by the manufacturer, as special tools are required. Incorrectly conducted repairs can
lead to considerable danger for the user.
