FUNDAMENTALL SAFETY WARNINGS
Attention! This product is NOT a toy.
This product is intended for domestic use only and is not suitable for commercial use.
CAUTION - To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury:
1. Do not allow this machine to be used for gaming purposes. Pay particular attention when the ma-
chine is used by or in the presence of children.
2. Use the machine only for its intended purpose as described in this manual. Use only the accessories
recommended by the manufacturer in the manner indicated in this manual.
3. Never use the machine if it is not working properly, if it has fallen on the ground, if it has been da-
maged or if it has fallen into the water. Return the machine to your nearest authorized dealer or service
center for inspection, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
4. Never use the machine if any of the air openings are blocked. Do not allow lint, dust or pieces of
cloth to block the ventilation openings.
5. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
6. Do not use the machine in places where spray products or oxygen are sprayed.
7. Do not place your fingers near moving parts. Special attention must be paid to the machine's needle.
8. Do not use bent needles.
9. Do not pull or push the fabric while sewing. There is a risk of bending the needle and breaking it.
10. Always remove the plug from the socket when you open the machine, for lubrification, or perfor-
ming any other maintenance.
11. If supervised or instructed in the safe use of the machine and aware of the risks involved, children
and persons with reduced sensory, physical and mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowle-
dge, are allowed to use the machine.
12. Children should not play with the machine. The cleaning and maintenance of the machine must not
be entrusted to unattended children.
13. Take particular care of small children to avoid them playing with the machine.
Hold the sewing machine correctly as shown in figure 20; always keep a safe distance from the needle
with the other hand.

MOVING PARTS

Keep all parts of the human body away from moving parts of the sewing machine.
READ BEFORE USING THE MACHINE
For safe operation:
1. Always look at the needle while sewing. Do not touch the handwheel, thread tensioner lever, needle
or other moving parts.
2. Remember to remove the plug from the socket when: • you have finished using the machine • you
replace or remove the needle or any other component • you carry out operations in the vicinity of the
needle • you carry out maintenan¬ce on the machine • you leave the machine unattended.3. Before
loading the coil, position the spring.
3. Position the spring before loading the reel.
4. Do not wrap the wire in the tensioner.
