STEP 2 Marking the correct drill hole positions
After choosing the installation-place, you can mark the positions for your drill
holes. To do so, please draw a horizontal line at the required installation-height
first. Please use a long taper measure, a level and chalk. The installation-points
for the brackets are fix. Measure the width between the brackets and copy the
distance to the line on your wall / ceiling. Mark the corresponding spots on the
wall by running a marker pen through the holes of the brackets.

STEP 3
Drilling of the holes for the brackets
Use a 14 mm masonry drill to bore the holes exactly where you have drawn the
marking. The holes must be 9 cm deep and need to go into stone or concrete.
Do not bore through mortar, as it is not solid enough to support the weight of an
awning.
(use a spirit level for maximum accuracy)
