10 Control pushbutton & Status-LED
The control pushbutton allows the user to switch between two loaded setup profiles, „af1" and „af2". To switch between the
setups, the button must be pressed and held for 1 second. Switching is indicated by a singular red flash of the Status-LED.
Pressing the button for 5 seconds completely erases the internal memory. This is indicated by a constant flashing of the
Status-LED.
Attention: After erasing the setups from memory the NOX4 DSP will not reproduce any audio output.
Please note: The NOX4 DSP is delivered in factory mode with two identical setup files which differ only in their extensions.
The Status-LED indicates the current active DSP-setup. Green means that setup 1 (af1) is loaded, orange means
that setup 2 (af2) is loaded. A flashing red light could indicate the following modes: 1. The internal memory is empty
2. A connection to a computer is established 3. An upload via a MicroSD card is in progress
11 Signal inputs
The amplifier has RCA connectors for RCA cables that can be connected with the pre-amplifier outputs of a headunit or
pre-amplifier. The connectors are gold-plated to ensure a better signal transmission.
Please note that bridged channels must be configured identically in the channel routing matrix and as well in the EQ sec-
tion. The appropriate signal input must be routed to both output channels (channel „A & B" or „C & D"). We recommend to
link the bridged channels during the configuration in our PC-Tool software.
12 Control Input
This multifunctional input is used to connect DSP accessories, like a level remote control or a bluetooth module.
13 Optical Input
Optical input in SPDIF format for connection to signal sources with a digital audio output. The sampling rate of this input
must be between 6 and 192 kHz. The input signal is automatically adjusted to the internal sampling rate.
14 Signal outputs channel E and F
These pre-amplifier outputs are used to connect another amplifier. The signal outputs can be freely configured in the DSP
via the PC-Tool software as at the internal channels. The output voltage is max. 6 Volts RMS.
