ACCORO 102
Software version
This is the software version of the µP QA01.
Operating hours and overload-protection circuit
–The operating hours counter indicates the operating hours of the set.
–The counter for the overload-protection circuit indicates how often
this has responded.
The operting hours and overload-protection circuit counters can be
cleared.
–Press and hold down the
CALL
pressing the
button on the set. The set switches temporarily to
standby.
Bus check
Normally "OK" (green) is displayed.
If a failure should have been occurred, the component "Qxxx" with
which no communication was possible is displayed in red.
Input source
–The input source indicates the active input source (UV = Tuner;
V1 = Video 1; V2 = Video 2; V3 = Video 3). If a useful signal is
present there, the input source indication is "green", otherwise it is
"red". A failure is to be searched at the input side of the QV01.
–The green QV01 indication means that the signal at the output side
is ok. In the case of a red QV01 indication, the QV01 and the
following circuits are to be checked.

6. Convergence

–Activate the service mode (see point 1.1).
–Press the
button.
(yellow)
The convergence test pattern appears on the picture screen.
X: 1
Y: 1
C: R
S: 01
The flashing rectangle indicates the convergence setting area.
X = X-coordinate of the convergence setting area.
Y = Y-coordinate of the convergence setting area.
C = activated adjustable beam (R = red / G = green / B = blue)
S = activated menu.
–Press the
button. The picture settings (height, width and

geometry) can be changed.
Press the
button again to exit the convergence test pattern.

6.2 Convergence alignment without convergence menu
For the PAL convergence alignment a PAL test pattern must be
injected, for the NTSC convergence alignment an NTSC test pattern.
a. Activate the service mode (see point 1.1).
b. Check the deflection and geometry settings and correct if necessary
(basic values – see Point 4, Alignment Instructions – Point 7,
alignment no. 4...7).
c. Select the picture format using the q button.
d. Press the
button. The convergence test pattern appears.
(yellow)
e. Select the area to be adjusted using the buttons 2 (top), 4 (left),
6 (right), 8 (bottom) then press the 5 button to activate it.
f. Select the adjustable beam (red/green/blue) using the 3 button.
g. If necessary display or suppress individual colours using the
,
buttons.
(green)
(blue)
h. Use the buttons 2 (up), 4 (left), 6 (right), 8 (down) to adjust
according to the test patterns (Point 6.3) and bring the red, green and
blue colours to coincidence (repeat the steps f to h).
i. Press the
button twice to end the convergence alignment.
(yellow)
Note:
–For a complete convergence alignment for one picture format, it is
necessary to repeat the steps e to h.
–The convergence must be adjusted for every picture format (Point
6.3) (repeat the Points c to h ).
6.3 Convergence alignment via the convergence menu
a. For the PAL convergence alignment a PAL test pattern must be
injected, for the NTSC convergence alignment an NTSC test
pattern.
b. Activate the service mode (see point 1.1).
c. Check the deflection and geometry settings and correct if necessary
(basic values – see Point 4, Alignment Instructions – Point 7,
alignment no. 4...7).
d. Press the F and 7 button on the service remote control (material
number 759880647300) at the same time.
The PAL or NTSC convergence alignment menu appears.
