Intended use

The battery packs are intended for use in corresponding GESIPA
tools. Charge only in GESIPA® chargers.
Observe the operating instructions of the tools used. Damage caused by any other use is
entirely at the user's risk. Generally recognised accident prevention regulations and the
safety instructions must be observed.

Safety instructions

The following safety rules must be observed to ensure adequate protection against
electric shock, injuries or fire hazards:
• Never try to charge a damaged battery pack.
• Do not use defective or deformed battery packs.
• Protect battery packs from moisture.
• Do not open battery packs.
• Do not short-circuit the contacts of the battery packs.
• Keep battery packs out of the reach of children.
• Do not insert dirty or wet battery packs into the charger.
• Never discard battery packs into household waste, fire or water.
• Do not expose battery packs to naked flames or high temperatures.
• General danger warning! A slightly acidic, flammable fluid can leak out of defective
Li ion battery packs.
• If battery fluid does escape and comes into contact with the skin, wash off
immediately with copious amounts of water. If battery fluid gets into your eyes,
wash out your eyes immediately with clean water and obtain medical attention
without delay.
• Do not recharge fully charged battery packs.
• Do not charge battery packs at temperatures below 0°C.
