Installation
Installation, maintenance, overhaul and repair may only be carried out by appropriately
authorised and trained personnel.
Do not disconnect equipment while the circuit is live or unless the area is known to be
free of ignitable concentrations.
Substitution of any component may impair suitability for Zone 2 and 22 respectively
Class I, Division 2.
Supplied fixings are suitable for a maximum panel thickness of 4 mm (0.157").
Make sure that the device satisfies the system specifications.
The device must be fastened on an even surface. The material must be suitable to
carry the weight of the device.
Fasten the device on an even surface using the six cap head screws with NYLTITE
washers. Before installation ensure the washers have been attached in the correct
orientation (see above).
Tighten each screw with the correct torque of 2.2 to 2.6 Nm (19.5 to 23 lbs ins).
Gasket should only used once and should be replaced along with sealing
washers if the unit is uninstalled and relocated! A replacement fixing kit is
available for re-installation with part number 212184.
Connection
The integral cable must be mechanically protected and must be terminated in an
enclosure providing appropriate protection for the location.
Connect the two core cable to the power supply.
Wiring connections (pre-wired):
Black 1: 0 V
Black 2: + 24 V (18 ... 32 V DC)
