WHAT'S IN THE PACKAGE?

a) the Serial Switch
b) one USB-Serial cable (serial 9-pin to USB plug with built-in adaptor)
c) one matching cable (serial 9-pin female-female)
HOW TO INSTALL THE SERIAL SWITCH?
Follow our instructions carefully point by point to ensure a successful result!
a) SWITCH ON the ATU 2.0 by using the main power switch on the front panel and observe the
display whether your device is upgraded to at least firmware 4.02. If it shows an older
firmware, please upgrade it as described in the ATU manual
b) SWITCH OFF the ATU 2.0 by disconnecting the powercable on the backside
c) connecting of the Serial Switch:
- connect the suitable interface cable to your transceiver/radio (optional CI-1 to CI-5, see list!)
- connect the USB-serial cable to your PC (including the matching cable)
- connect the Serial Switch cable with its 2 plugs to the ATU 2.0 (RS232 and RS485, see label
on the back of ATU 2.0!)
- reconnect now the power supply plug to the backside of the ATU 2.0
- connect the keyboard to the socket on the front panel of the ATU 2.0
- if the communication between the Serial Switch and the ATU 2.0 is well established, the
display will show
