    Tankpatronen nicht rauchen. Von Heiz- und Zündquellen fernhalten. Methanol ist leicht entzündlich! Ist Methanol ausgetreten, besteht Brandgefahr (z.B. nach einem Unfall oder bei Beschädigung der EFOY Brennstoffzelle oder der EFOY- Tankpatrone). Zündquellen fernhalten und gut lüften. Ausgelaufenes Methanol in geringen Mengen verdunstet rückstandsfrei.

    Anschluss für Abwärmeführung 3.2.3 EFOY-Brennstoffzelle einsetzen VORSICHT! Wurde die EFOY-Brennstoffzelle Temperaturen unter 1°C ohne angeschlossene Batterie und ausreichend gefüllte EFOY-Tankpatrone (Frostschutz) ausgesetzt, muss sie vor Betrieb für ca. 24 Stunden bei Zimmertemperatur aufgetaut werden. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf die Montageplatte.

    Damit Ihre Batterie optimal gepflegt wird, ist es wichtig, dass bei Erreichen der Ausschaltschwelle der Ladestrom nicht abrupt gestoppt wird. Darum wird die EFOY nach Erreichen der eingestellten Ausschaltschwelle (werksseitig 14,2 Volt voreingestellt) bis max. 3 h mit reduziertem Strom weiter laden. Die Dauer des Nachladens ist abhängig von der Batteriespannung und dem Stromverbrauch.

Standardmäßig schaltet der Batterieschutz sich ein, wenn die Spannung der Batterie unter 11,2 V sinkt (min. 60 Sekunden).
