6.2.
Usage of CAS 600 EU
Never suck hot ash! Temperature <40 ° C. At higher temperatures consists a fire hazard! Don't suck
soot and flammable substances! When sucking constantly check hose and suction on warming!
When the suction hose for the ash becomes warm during use, turn off the power immediately and
cool down. Never empty the container in a flammable container!
Before and after sucking empty the vacuum cleaner and clean!
We recommend in any case not more than 2-3 kg of ash (wood or pellet) per cleaning absorb. Use
your ash vacuum never to soak up plaster and / or cement dust!
• Plug the power cord into a grounded power socket and make sure that the voltage matches the
information on the device. Make sure that the switch on the engine cover (B) to "0" position.
• Turn off the machine using the switch (B) on the engine cover, a (position "I").
• Vacuum the ash through the metal nozzle directly from the stove or fireplace from (with wood or pellet
firing). Hold the metal nozzle in about 1 centimeter distance above the ash.
• After use, turn off the power and unplug the power cord.
• Once you have finished cleaning your furnace and / or fireplace, clean equipment and filters and empty
the ash container in a non-flammable container.
• With a reduction in suction power, turn off the engine through the switch and clean the filter as
described in Section 6.3 "Cleaning the filter" described. Then turn the power back on and check
the suction power.
ATTENTION! Before cleaning or maintenance the connector must always be unplugged from the
outlet.
6.3.

Cleaning the filter

You can clean the filter of the CAS 600 EU in different ways, and depending on the pollution degree.
• First, remove the motor head (A) from the ash container (I) (Fig.1-3 and Fig. 6).
• Disassemble the filter (E).
• Tap the filter for surface cleaning gently against a hard object (such as a stone). This method allows the
dirt can quickly remove and your ash vacuum is within seconds ready for use again.
• You can filter with the aid of compressed air. Get rid initially the filter from the worst of the dirt and blow
him after carefully from the inside out.
• For particularly stubborn dirt, you can wash the filter with water. However absolutely make sure that you
can dry the filter thoroughly before mounting it and be the sucker in operation.
After cleaning the filter, make sure it is still suitable for further use. If damaged or broken it must be
replaced by an original filter.

7. Guarantee

The present device was manufactured and inspected according to the latest methods. The seller warrants for
faultless material and workmanship in accordance with the legal regulations of the country in which the
device was purchased. The warranty period begins with the day of the purchase and is subject to the
provisions below:
Within the period of warranty, all defects which are to be attributable to defective materials or manufacturing
will be eliminated free of charge. Any complaints are to be reported immediately upon their detection.
The warranty claim becomes void in the case of interventions undertaken by the purchaser or by third
parties. Damage resulting from improper handling or operation, incorrect setting-up or storage, inappropriate
connection or installation or Acts of God or other external influences are excluded from warranty.
Parts being subject to wear and tear are excluded from warranty.
All parts were manufactured using maximum care and high-quality materials and are designed for a long
lifecycle. It should be understood, however, that the wear and tear depends on the kind of use, the intensity
of use and the internals of maintenance. Complying with the installation and maintenance information
contained in the present operating instructions will therefore considerably contribute to a long lifecycle of
these wearing parts.
