WW2 RéGULATEUR
Te c h n i c a l N o t e s
By creating the Vintage WW2 REGULATEUR (Wrist Watch 2), Bell & Ross is paying tribute to the timekeeping instruments used by military avia-
tors in the 1930s and 1940s. The regulator display is a complication separating the display of hours and minutes. With its 60 minute graduation
on the large diameter dial, the Vintage WW2 REGULATEUR favors the reading of short time periods essential to aerial navigation.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Mechanical movement with automatic winding. 25 jewels. 28,800 beats
per hour. Working reserve of about 40 hours. High-precision adjustment in
4 positions (tolerance of 0/+10 seconds per day). Functions: hours (E),
minutes (D), seconds (C). Time set with seconds. Bezel: XL: rotat-
ing, notched, bi-directional and engraved with a red triangular marker.
Case:  XL: diameter 49 mm. Thickness: 13 mm. Sapphire crystal with
anti-reflective coating. Water-resistance: 50 meters.

GENERAL USAGE

Winding. When the watch has stopped (crown in position 0): wind
the mechanism by turning the crown (A) counter-clockwise. After about
40 rotations, the watch is fully wound (the mechanism has no stop in order
to keep the winder from being wound too tightly). The operating time is
then about 40 hours. When the watch is being worn , winding takes place
automatically. Setting the time. Pull the crown into position 1. The
second hand is then stopped, which lets you set the time to the nearest
second. Set the time by turning the crown in the desired direction.

USING THE ROTATING BEZEL
The bezel and its marker are used to display a time limit:
1. Position the marker on the minute graduation corresponding to the set
time limit
2. The set time is up when the minute hand is aligned with the red marker
on the bezel.
IMPORTANT
Once the watch has been completely set, in order to guarantee perfect
water-resistance, push the crown back into position 0. The crown must
never be handled underwater.
CARE
After being immersed in seawater, it is recommended to always rinse off
the watch and its strap with fresh water. We also recommend that you
check that your watch is still watertight every two years. In order to guar-
antee service compliant with the brand's requirements, any servicing on
your watch must be carried out by the Bell & Ross repair center or by a
watchmaker approved by Bell & Ross. For any repairs under warranty, you
will need to present the Bell & Ross warranty card, duly dated and signed
by the retailer at the time of purchase.
