1. Clean and lubricate with one quick spray of Midwest Plus™
Aerosol Spray using the Midwest Backend Attachment nozzle
into the drive air tube of the handpiece. The drive air tube
is the shorter of the two larger tubes and is gold on many
handpieces.
2. Run the handpiece on Midwest Handpiece Air Station or
other air source for 30 seconds or until normal speed is
reached, and all excess spray is expelled. Dry thoroughly.
3. Proceed to Bag and Autoclave.

Bag and autoclave
Insert handpiece into sterilization bag and load into autoclave.
(DENTSPLY recommends using steam sterilization with
sterilization bags with at least one paper side.) Handpieces
should be processed in the autoclave, per autoclave
manufactures instructions, at a max sterilization temperature
of135ºC/275ºF.
Keep handpiece in bag until ready to use in the operatory.
No further lubrication is required before use.
