Mounting location
Fix the antenna as high as possible on
rear or front screen near roof edge
(fig. 1). Account that the inner unit can
be fixed exactly opposite the outer unit.
Choose flat screen area.
Attention heating wires:
When the heating wires run next to the
roof edge, mount antenna between two
wires.
Preferred mounting location:
Top of rear screen in the middle.
Mounting Preparation
Clean mounting location (inside and out-
side) extensive with window cleaner.
After drying, polish with the cleaning clo-
ths until glass is absolutely clean and dry
(fig. 2).
Mounting
Optimal adhesion will be reached if the
temperature during and after mounting is
about 20 °C.
Remove protective film. Do not touch
adhesive surface. Fix on outer unit and
press firmly (fig. 3). Keep air bubbles to
a minimum.
Remove protective film from inner unit
(fig. 4).
Fix inner unit exactly opposite of the
outer unit (fig. 5).
Do not stress components mechanically
for 24 hours prior to final adhesion.
Adjust antenna whip into vertical position
(fig. 6).
Cable Installation
The thin high flexible coaxial cabel facili-
tates easy laying, i.e. between screen
and head-lining.
Dismounting
Warm up inner and outer unit to
60 – 70 °C (i.e. with hairdryer) and lift
up parts carefully with a blunt tool and
pull up slowly.
