This is the dental instrument with columnar or tapering working part and it possesses circular form in cross cut section
and flat end. REVERSO SILVER files are used aiming at shaping and cleaning the root canal by mechanically powered
REVERSO SILVER system.

6. Precautions for use
Safety equipment (gloves, glasses, rubber dam) is required for patients and self-protection.
These instruments can only be used after sterilization, please using these files under medical environment.
Please use REVERSO SILVER system in an appropriate case and in a correct way. Remove debris out frequently from
screwing-in problems
Normally shaping the canal with EDTA for entering the canal smoothly and irrigate sufficiently after removing debris
created by shaping the root canal.
If you come across a situation that it's difficult to enter the deeper part of the canal, please stop and check both
morphology of the canal and whether there are signs of deformation of files or not, then confirm the orifice is expanded
wide enough for subsequent use of shaping files.
7. Selecting the correct REVERSO SILVER

Normally, 25# for most of case
•
#40 for medium canal
•
#50 for bigger canal
8. Sequence
•
To achieve a straight-line access to the root canal entrance.
•
Irrigating the root canal
•
Select the correct REVERSO SILVER instruments
•
Check the Endo motor has been selected
•
Introduce the REVERSO SILVER into the root canal.
•
Move the instrument in a slow in-and-out pecking motion. The amplitude of the in-and-out movements should not
exceed 3 mm. Only light pressure should be applied. 1 in-and-out movement=1 peck. The instrument will advance easily
in the canal.
•
After 3 pecks, remove the instrument from the canal. Clean the debris.
•
Irrigate the canal.
•
Make sure the canal is free to approx 3mm beyond the prepared canal section with an ISO size 10 file.
•
In this way, continue with REVERSO SILVER instrument until approx 2/3 of the working length has been reached. When
using an 25#, determine the working length by using an ISO size 10# files. When using an 40#, 50#, the working length
should be re-checked with an apex locator.
•
Continue with REVERSO SILVER instrument until working length has been reached.
•
As soon as full working length has been reached, withdraw the instrument from the root canal.
