NiMH rechargeable batteries lose capacity at low temperatures (less than 0°C).
When not in use, charge the battery every 3 months.

Li-ion battery

The Li-ion battery can be recharged at any time without shortening the battery life.
Interrupting the charging process does not harm the battery.
A significant reduction in the operating time of charged rechargeable batteries indicates
that they must be replaced due to aging or defects. Use only original KaWe spare
rechargeable batteries. When not in use, charge the battery every 3 months.

Disposal:
Disposal/recycling instructions are printed on the device itself as well as on the
packaging.
Do not dispose of the rechargeable batteries as household waste! They must
be brought to special recycling centers.
Environmentally friendly disposal of batteries:
Batteries must be disposed of properly. Bring defective batteries to a dealer for disposal.
Batteries must be removed from devices before they are disposed of. Damaged batteries
can be harmful to the environment and your health if they leak poisonous vapors or
liquids. Therefore, never mail or otherwise send out a damaged battery. Please consult
your local disposal facility/recycling centre. Ensure that the batteries are completely
discharged before you dispose of them. We recommend covering the battery contacts
with tape in order avoid a short circuit. Do not open the battery.
